About Rotor & Range
Rotor & Range is a gear-and-guides site for two of the most gear-obsessed communities online: drone pilots and EV drivers. We test, research and recommend the accessories worth owning — and tell you plainly what to skip.
What we do
We publish two things: buyer's guides that rank the accessories that actually matter, and setup guides that help you get more out of the drone or car you already own. No 40-item "best of" lists padded with junk — just the short list we'd give a friend.
How we pick
Recommendations are based on hands-on use, manufacturer specs, and the consensus of the owner communities we're part of. When we haven't personally tested something, we say so. A product's place on our list is never influenced by whether it has an affiliate program.
How we make money
Rotor & Range is free to read. We fund it two ways:
- Affiliate commissions — some links to products are affiliate links. If you buy through one, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you.
- Advertising — we display ads served by third parties such as Google.
